Unreliabilities of HTTP. You can redirect this list by installing a web server and looking at the logs where the updater downloads the list and then fake it using the hosts file.

Chrome seems to be strict when it comes to headers. If the server doesn't send back the correct headers, it either throws a ERR_FAILED, ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE or ERR_BLANK_RESPONSE or displays a blank page.

That does bear an uncanny resemblance to WinCE 2.0 (and 2.11). The only miss is that the Palm-size PCs that ran WinCE 2.1 had a resolution of 320x240.

But delete the desktop icons, change the size and BAM, insta Windows CE!

Can you do Unnecessarily Low Res Edition? I did that with my Windows CE 2000 screens

When i fired up my Whistler 2428 emulator, i noticed the date on MSN was January of 2001. Thinking I had stumbled upon an internet wormhole, i set out to conquer the internet, only to find out it was just MSN who used the date of the computer (which had to be changed to use whistler) instead of those pesky internet servers that are always wrong.

No, i'm just using the default available resolutions. i found out on ToastyTech how to do the registry hacking, though.
