Microsoft Neptune has quite a few Inconsistencies of which version of windows it is: (note: i had to merge 2 screen shots because the help&support app is a single-instance program)

Favourite OS Windows NT 4.0 TS (gold)
I posted this in another thread before I noticed this one, but it just shows how Microsoft wants to control the world:
Not funny, but just a bit ironic - there was a big deal that Windows was supposed to be entirely 32-bit, yet I got this randomly during a 2003 install.
We always knew Maxis had a sense of humor, but I am not sure if this is referring to the X Window System: (was there even a version of SimCity for X?)
This happened when I double-clicked 7-zip's own setup file in 7-zip file manager running under Darwine. The title of the dialog is "7-Zip Error".
Finally, in regards to there being a .DS_STORE on a Microsoft disc, even Microsoft prefers Apple hardware - at a demonstration of Vista: It's still online here

NSIS not for the win. Something similar happens internally with iTunes 8 on Wine: it returns a success code which is unimplemented on Wine's msiexec, causing the installation to always fail until you patch msiexec's sources from the Wine sources.

Ahh, how NT hasn't changed...

In regards to Windows NT 3.1 being renamed from NT 1.0 to NT 3.1 (thats how I understand it from the topic a while back), do you think that was to prevent the NT product line from appearing 2 generations behind DOS based Windows? (Windows NT 1.0 or Windows 3.1. Which would you buy?)
