I tried wdl1.winworldpc.com and it is an test page for the Cherokee servers,and wdl2.winworldpc.com is simply offline.Thank goodness for the FTP!

They have already down for days. wdl1 was previously temporarily open for a short while and then closed again. wdl2 is said to be under its maintenance progress.

Winworld is not affiliated with BetaArchive in any name, shape or form. I have no idea why you complain about WinWorld's downtime here on BetaArchive. Why don't you complain to stitch on WinWorld's IRC? I also assume you have found their new domain while they switch hosts.

I think we are in the section "Public Servers"...
so, I think we can talk about "Public Servers", differents from BetaArchive...
IMHO, I dont see the problem, soulman.
WinWorld is a public server that offer a "mirror" for who doesn't have access to BA FTP yet.

WinWorld isn't made to be a BA mirror. It is its own site.

gamelover101, I wrote mirror between quotes, and I completed phrase saying " for who doesn't have access to BA FTP yet ", so I didnt say WinWorld is DIRECTLY a mirror from BA, I know that BA and WinWorld are two different sites.

Though they provide some stuff we also have, we have so much more and 99% verified authentic. But of course for people who don't bother to contribute 10 posts it is a useful resource...
