Yay! That's great!
I'm downloading NT4.
I have Block Out, Skyroads, Cyrus and Test Drive for DOS, and Test Drive 5 for Windows (abandonware maybe?) - don't know if they are in your server. I also run them on Nintendo DS, but this is another topic.
Anyway, abandonware legality is still on discussion - be careful

is there any place to get the KDX client online? A Google search simply shows that the producer of the client has gone out of business and not been replaced. Any hints?

Expect downtime sometime this week, data has been moved to a new raid setup (made of old disks, i have scraped about 320GB of space) installation of the new controller will be sometime this week (probably wednesday, if your in the uk you'll know why this is). Also it's worth noting, any uploads (inc account requests) from now on will be ignored, as the data is already moved (and i don't trust any new data written to the drive) .
Thanks Max1zzz
(Did i tell you that he server data drive is screwed? seems not)

Please, Please, please set your ftp client to have no more than 2 simultaneous downloads, if you have more and i feel it affects our internet or other users you will get a 1 hour ban (mainly to make your client time out the transfers)
Thanks Max1zzz

Cant you stop transfers from the server side? I think a ban of only 5-20 minutes should work.

depends on the client, most (like filezilla) actually seem to learn not to reconnect if i disconnect a transfer 2-3 times, some will just keep reconnecting
I only actually use the ban if i can't keep the transfers disconnected, and then, i normally only actually do this untill it stops trying to reconnect

Too slow. Mine:DOWNLOAD 50.29Mb/s, upload:35.27MB/s and ping is 5ms.
That dosen't make any sense, even if that is meant to be kb/s it would still be too fast, without a account your dl is capped to 10 kb/s. Anyway, we should get better speeds after Thursday as that is when our fiber optic broadband is being installed

Ok since may last post we have had fiber installed, and then upgraded to a even faster package. We now get 80mbp/s down and 20mbp/s up (or if you look at how you would see it when connected to the server 20dowm + 80up)

357.3 GB in 12778 files.
If you want a complete mirror we need to talk first, pm me and i'll give you my email (just i rarely cheack BA these days). 350gb at 20kb/s wouldn't be fun

FTP: Address: max1zzz.co.uk:55 Port: 55 (Hence 55 on address) User: mg / mr Pass: mg1 / mr1 (passwords must be 3 characters or more in this software)
HTTP: Address: max1zzz.co.uk:9090 Port: 9090 (hence 9090 on address) User: mg / mr Pass: mg1 / mr1 (passwords must be 3 characters or more in this software)

@Combine11, Thanks
Notice to all: Expect some extended downtime (perhaps 24hours or more) this weekend, replacing the ups with a better one (which will be seen by the server, allowing auto shutdown) (picked up a free apc smart ups 1500, batts look good aswell, well i got two ups's, but one is refusing to start) old one will be moved and will power a new nas box i built and will also keep the switch up in outages (but not the modem).
Also need to sort out the backup drive (should just need to be reformatted and have the data moved back on it) for safety reasons, the server needs to be offline while i do this.
Also gotta reconfigure the network somewhat, so i got lots of work to do (most i have needed to do since moving to the xserve) -max1zzz

No not all of them, i'll check to see what i still have to upload later
And a notice to all users, if you are getting slow downloads on the public account go to: http://max1zzz.co.uk:8000/?u=register&p ... eForm.html and register youre own account, it will have the same limits as the public account but isn't affected by a bug causing slow downloads on the public accounts
