Hopefully i will be able to start adding some mac & windows betas soon, only stuff that is in the public domain though.

I tried that in vMac SE but it's doesn't work.
The system used in that emulator is Mac SE. System 4.1 still supported on that system.
It makes weird bugs.

Use MESS as I've never been able to get it to work on Mini Vmac or vMacW32, Both crash on my system. Mini Vmac has a bug I don't know how to over come since the UI only allow for adding one disk, And both is needed for operations, Since the font it ask for if you use the first disk alone, is on the second disk.

Mess use the following command:

EDIT: found a way around it, Launching it from command-line like this: and then selecting the first disk from the UI make it work in mini vmac

i found a simpler way to get it to work in mini vmac (just your way without using the command line)
drag both disks into mini vmac, it will come up with a error, then a few seconds later that will change to asking you to switch disks, than drag the first disk in again and it will finish booting

Server is offline until further notice, main disk is failing (the one with all the mac abandonware) most is backed up, but i don't have a big enough drive to move it onto

How big is the drive?

250gb, ~160gb of data on it, looks like im gonna have complete loss of all data on the drive (mac, console games and emu's) windows stuff is fine, i should have ~95% of that backed up tho

Back up as much of it as you can, right now, so that way, you still have those files.

Ok there is gonna be no files on the server until i can afford to buy a new hard drive, and neither the dead main or the backup drive will be powered on until this time, there is no eta for this (as i have very very little money)

okii, should be getting a new hdd (probably 1tb possibly 2tb) soon, server will be back then.

New 1TB hdd on order, once i have that backups and downloads will be moved onto that, then that hdd (500GB) will be the new server data drive, expect the server back by next friday

New HDD has arrived, eta till files back: ~10 - 24 hours

first 5 hours: copy old backup drive to new 1TB drive
next hour: delete old stuff from old backup drive
rest of time: copy missing files, reinstall both back into the server

the 500gb drive becomes the server data drive, the 1TB drive becomes the backup and downloads drive

We are back in bisness, enjoy the fileness

0 files lost, 250GB space gained on server drive

well, the thing is it's not just on here, look at macgarden and you'll find it.
however if the admins want to move it i have no problem with that.

I see no need to do it...

Another drive failed, i do not trust the hackintosh anymore, sever is offline untill i can replace the server (or get a external sata dive tower or some ppc friendly sata cards) which i really don't have the money for.

We are back, On real mac hardware this time, my trusty old 2001 G4 quicksilver should serve us well

When i have the money im gonna invest in a couple of sonnet tempo sata cards (or maybe if you very very lucky ill try to save the money for a pair of 4 bay drobos, but that's over £600 of tech)

Seriously people, stop trying to logon as me, there is no reason to so i assume anyone trying is attempting to harm the server, which results in a immediate and permanent ip ban (i don't care if you manage to logon to my account or not, you WILL be permanently banned)
