Can anyone make an installer for a linux installer that you don't need to leave your host OS to install it on another partition (I can't install anything atm because i lost my flash drive, don't have any blank cd's nor any floppys) Sortof like WUBI but for any distribution or a select distro. As for me I'd like one with windows drivers capablity and no need for file permissions and easy install of tar files like debian.

if you feel adventurous, you can mount your physical hdd inside a virtual machine and use that to install anything on some different partition. just be careful not to mess in any way with your currently booted OS (like boot it again virtually, or mount any of its partitions)

How is this possible? Haven't found the option on VMWARE or VPC. Bosch? Parallels?
--EDIT-- Pwned, ain't no readme comes with the installer. Mind sending me a pm or post about how it works without me ****ing my computer up?

I've used it in VirtualBox before, but there's no wizard for doing so. you have to fiddle about in the hdd-configuration file yourself, howtos are to be found on the interwebs

I've seen it been done in VMware, although I believe, if you have your hard drive partitioned, you can just set the VM to boot from a Physical Drive, and then set the BIOS to Boot from the CD and Install from there.
