Anyone want to make a Windows 7 version of the concept screenshots theme? It looks really nice.

About all I don't like so far is this start button. Everything else looks great, so good job.

And then there's this picture that Paul Thurrott also took back at PDC 2003:

Well, here's a short video clip of that actual gadget in motion from the demo:

No, I don't remember. Where did it come from?

It's a composite image that Paul Thurrott put together from Hillel Cooperman's AERO demo at PDC 2003. In other words, he took two pictures with his camera, then stitched them together as best he could to form that picture. Here are the other photos he posted from that presentation back then:

As for the high-resolution version, well, I just took a screen shot from the Flash demo itself to share. ^^

Some amazing screenshots there Stephen, A bit of "golden nostalgia" there. I once had the liberty of seeing the Aurora Shell Branding a few years ago from a friend of a friend although Im not 100% of it's authenticity, you got anything there we could have a little look at?

Just to clarify things, these images ReflectiaX have been posting are from Director demos of how "Longhorn" should work. (This was never in any of the pre-reset builds.)

Anyway, ReflectiaX, am I right in saying that the Athens PC demos were also made from Director and were not actual "Longhorn" builds.

Yes I understand that. In the real world Microsoft was never able to make longhorn this good... (sad they could only accomplish this in flash)
