i don't think the RTM will leak... before there were rumors that the Release Candidate will leak but in the end we had to wait for the official release by Microsoft.

But the Release Candidate was leaked. In Chinese, but it was leaked. Some MUIs were leaked too, including the non-released by MS en-GB package.

Well you have wzor and win8china saying its gonna be 9200 so as to go on to the 7.0 build chain for Windows 9. And Canouna saying nah its gonna be 8888 as the final.
At this point they are both equally valid sources of information however what MS chooses to do is what MS does.

In that case I say it'll be build 8887. Really, there is no way of telling, they don't just start out and say "Well, whatever we have at build 9999 we'll throw out, working or not". Whatever the build number turns out to be must be the build number it took to get the major bugs and stuff out.

Microsoft have no problem at all with rounding out or changing build numbers to suit themselves - it can make it easier internally for `bookkeeping` purposes. I actually asked Steve Sinofsky about this with (iirc) the build number jump for the final build of 7 and he said as much.

Is this the RTM "Gold" build, or is this another RTM candidate build? Either way, though, I'm currently on the Release Preview build, however, if I see this build come up anywhere, I'll definitely add it into my collection.
By the way, does anyone know if there are any updates in this build (from the Release Preview, that is)?

Reports of the final Release to Manufacturing (RTM) build 9200.16384.WIN8_RTM.120725-1247 surfaced over at Win8China today, who also leaked a copy of the final lock screen image to accompany the default wallpaper. According to our own sources, build 9200 is the final one. The compile process started on Wednesday — outputting SKU, language, and install variations.
