I encountered a bug in Windows 8 RP, you can't change the "Connect Automatically" settings, you can uncheck it 100 times and it will remain checked and vice-versa. If anyone finds a solution, tell me please, it's annoying to connect to my home WiFi everytime I boot my laptop

Can't you change it from the actual connection properties in Network and Sharing Center ?

So, I messed with some settings and found whats wrong :
Windows 8 RP does have all password protected networks as "Connect Automatically".

Solution:
Check "Connect even if the network isn't broadcasting it's name (SSID)" on the network you want to be connecting to on startup.
