Well, it propably is real early prototype of Windows however it hasn't been leaked. I guess the closest we can get is Windows Developer Preview 5 from 1983...

I would kill for that version, or at the very least do somthing incredubly unpleasant such as eat a small tree. But alas it is unavailable. Shame as I would have liked to see the look and feel of it to see which way Windows could have went.

That is Interface Manager, which would eventually become Windows.
No, it's not. The document was called Windows - a Mouse with Modest Requirements if I remember correctly.
I doubt it's DR3 at all, to be honest, unless they actually did go several months between DRs. I'll be betting it's either 1 or 2 if it is a DR, if it's not just a slideshow or slightly-functional-mockup.

So this may be the first public release of windows? WOW I am amazed at what it could do. Thanks for sharing
No, the first release of Windows that was public was 1.01 (unless Premiere was actually sold, I don't know). Windows 1.01 (and Premiere) can't do very much, they're just a graphical shell with a crude API and a mouse driver attached. I've played with DR5, Alpha, and Beta, and they're capable of even less: DR5 barely works at all - try and open Notepad and see what I mean; Alpha sort of works but its executable format and API are vastly different from any release version; and Beta looks, feels, and works pretty much like the final versions.
Speaking of Windows Versions of Ancientness, does anyone know of a way to run those DR5, Alpha, and Beta builds on a Linux host? I gave up Windows a couple of years ago now, and running Windows on a VM on Wine seems more like a plant than a plan.

The name suggests that MS held a "Windows is not vaporware" event and gave out floppies. I had magazines from 1984 and 1985 that called windows vaporware because it had a lenghtened development cycle.
