From 2008 to Jan 2010 I was on a computer that could only run Windows 98 (barely) it was during this time I found that I didn't have to be behind a decade! A lot of hunting yielded me a small dedicated crew of forum goers on "M.S.F.N dot org" that had been working on updating their OS of choice (i.e. Win98) for the modern day. The result was the 'Unofficial Service pack 2.1a'. The Service Pack combined with KernelEX (a compatibility layer that allows select Windows 2000/XP-only applications to run on Windows 98 and Windows Millennium) breathed new life into my ailing Pentium II. I thank those who made it heartily!
Many know of that SP2.1a update, what most do NOT know is that they kept on updating it!
The last KernelEX update was released more recently in Nov 2011: KernelEX 4.5.2
I know that in this day and age of Windows 8 and iTouch this and that this really isn't news, but I thought i'd post it anyway - it helped me 4 years ago, maybe i might help you too!

@eggi36 Amazing job finding that mate! Serves me right for giving up on the link to mdgx.com, in my defense that site is horrible when it comes to navigation - mainly because I get lost in the Great Wall of text! Thanks for sharing though!
@maxtorix (and anyone else who can answer), is it okay to directly link? Without Anonym.to, I didn't link the file because I thought we were all incognito and stuff...correct me if I'm wrong though! ^_^

@tinyxl as I know, the latest version also aren't on Mdgx (last version there is the Beta) 4, that page I posted is the official site for the Service Pack.
