and B: It very much depends on your idea of "functional". Will you be able to download metro applications through an app store? Quite probably. Will it actually be an app store where such purchases persist and where you can buy retail software with actual money? No, almost certainly not. It will, at best, be a functional demonstration, built to test the system, not for actual use as an application store.

In a video presentation at CES it has been said that the windows store will be available in late February, earlier in the same video they also said the beta will be avialable in late February... So I suppose it can be used in the beta

Its likely it will be in the Beta as I have seen many articles saying this. But I dont think it will be available in the DP as it says "Windows Store isnt aailable for Windows DP" or whatever it said...
