everyone now knows windowsupdate v4 site's shut down, how can i find OFFICIAL updates out there? i am now using windows 98 se on a laptop, just want to use it, and don't want to upgrade the os.
i don't trust unofficial service packs, and i found security toolkit on BA ftp but only for win2k or nt4. is there any update rollups for windows 98 se? or someone who have got all latest updates, please rip them for me?

and some more questions...
what is windows 98 service pack 1, is it for second edition?
what is "windows 98 versions" found in "/(Misc) Compilations/PC/Microsoft MSDN (Green)" on BA ftp? is it included with some updates?

The service packs are unoffical update kits.

As for 98, AFAIK V4 is still up, but you need IE6.
