Win8China said the Windows Developer Preview will open for downloads earlier than it was original planned! During the BUILD conference, Microsoft will give every participants a Samsung tablet which runs Windows 8.

On the other hand, Microsoft also will open the downloads of WDP. This will happened on 12th Sep (US Standard Time), right before BUILD!

It's odd if they make a fbl_eeap branch build (winmain for oem) available for the public and not from the winmain branch ...

The Windows Developer Preview is not the public beta, you can see the Windows Developer Preview as pre-beta.
