Itautec had their MS-DOS too, but it got missing in the sands of time. Maybe it was the only MS-DOS to be copy protected.

also the earliest MS-DOS version we have is 1.12 (same OEM as 1.1 and 1.11, Compaq).

You can find a bunch of "MS-DOS 1.0" files on the web, but most are either mislabeled or corrupted (eithert the archive or floppy inages)...

Another problem with early DOS releases (not njust 1.x) is that they often come on non-standard or corrupted media...

Where do you want to go today?

Favourite OS
All Microsoft operating systems!
Well, I have just now finished adding all of the releases mentioned above into my own project, the Official Microsoft OS Checklist for The Beta Group and AbandoNet, of which was not only already released within the Donator's section on AbandoNet, but will also be released onto The Beta Group soon, once I'm finished making the proper modifications for its release there (in this case, removing certain information relating to AbandoNet), not to mention that I have given full credit to DeFacto for confirming the existence of these releases.

Also, AT&T did indeed manufacture PC systems, infact, at a certain chain of resturaunts within one of the places where I happen to live, there were even a number of their PC systems at one point being used for POS (Point of Service)-related tasks, though they have since been replaced with more specialized systems. Also, the monitors were exactly the same as the Acer UVGA monitors, but had AT&T logos instead of Acer logos (most likely, however, this is due to using the same supplier for both brands of monitors).

I've got a Wang PC with MSDOS 2.01:

(yes, the default prompt is A: (as Microsoft originally wanted) rather than A> (which IBM insisted on). And it uses - for the option character and / for the directory separator).
