What do those pictures have to do with the build numbers? They are two different things. Good job lol. You classified two build numbers as being fake because of an unrelated screenshot.

Unless a build leaks and is identified as genuine, we have no proof whatsoever from screenshots. So really, random screenshots over the web aren't trusted by me in any way if they're not from a leaked build.

In regards to windows 8 build 7989 which is that the leak did not orginate from HP the OEM since they dont have test builds of 8 yet that will only happen when it hts beta. this is most def factual info.

How surprising it is then that VMware have tested their new betas of Workstation 8 with these early-development builds of Windows 8, which they didn't acquire illegally, but almost certainly from Microsoft; and oh look. Windows 8 is nowhere near the beta stage yet.

The latest leak is Milestone 3, however we are probably at Milestone 4 or alpha (as far as I've been told).

Sadly there is no way to know at this point apart from informed guesses since there is now very little reliable information regarding Windows 8 build information because of the fall out of Windows 7989 leaking. And Well I've been gone for the past couple of weeks so good luck trying to figure it out now sadly.

Update: We are not at milestone 4 or a formal beta from what ive heard please do not say we are there yet lol
