Restart explorer.exe. It will go away for a little while

tip: make a simple cmd program to kill and start explorer.exe. type this in notepad;


Save it as a .bat. Now, just run this and the watermark will go away

Where have you got the Traditional Chinese language pack? Isn't the RTM leak only in English?

That is just a language pack downloaded from a Chinese forum called pcbeta.
There are:
zh-TW and zh-CN for x64
zh-CN for X86
zh-CN and zh-HK for Server 2012

Is there a way other than temporarily disabling it? It just comes back after explorer.exe is reset.

The only ways to get rid of it are restarting explorer, activating Windows or editing resources.

How'd you get win8 activated?
