I'am doing my FSc ( Faculty of Science ) in Pre-engineering. The least interesting subject is maths all 446 pages of it. It's not hard but I HATE THE TRIGONOMETRY !!. Hopefully after two years i'll be on my road to become a software engineer (or maybe something else as long as it involves computers). Wish me luck guys !!!!

I wish you best of luck
I'm studying right now B.Sc. in Network and Communications Engineering (2nd year). And the Software engineering is too easy (i.e I think it's not hard to study it). If you like the subject then it's pretty enough for your success.

If you would like to create programs/applications using high-level languages (C/C++ and ASM), you might choose "Software engineering", but if you plan to study (C++ and ASM and Java) also engineering in computers you might choose "Computer Engineering"
Here we have "Network enginnering" = "Computer Engineering" + 5~7 courses of Networks-related (Including Wireless, Modems management ... etc)
Again, good luck

Wow your college starts late, we started over a month ago here (Narvik University College, second year Electronics). The maths are ok, what you'll be hating soon is Physics, where even if all the math is right your answer can still be completely wrong because you overlooked part of the question.
If you already know a bit of programming in any real language (i.e. not a scripting language but something like Python, Java or C#) you'll probably find those classes really easy, algorithms are where the trouble starts according to my mates studying CS.

Well I hope they teach you the difference between collage and college.
