I'm a Betaarchive fan. While I might not post frequently, and they might not be all so helpful; I always look at Beta Archive for tips or help with many of different things.
I apologize, but I feel that I'll leave the more helpful posts up to the people who know what they're talking about. I do hope to eventually raise my confidence level enough to feel my posts are helpful and useful in this forum community.
I'm hoping to recruit some helpful people to design my own forum, for roleplaying and some general computer news.
I admit, I have loads of dreams, but the bubble gets popped before it's blown.
I'm looking to develop it into a fully fledged role playing forum, with offtopic sections for computer based news. As I'm definitely a techie fan.
If anyone's interested in role playing, feel free to check it out. I'm looking for members or moderators. Tips and designers are welcome too. I've had many ideas for websites, and I plan on buying a domain and sewing them all together in order to make a masterful site (A kid can dream).

Haha It's simple. It's play by post.
The brilliance is that the role play can take place over actual days and months. You post when you can, as often as you can spare it. Each person posts their posts, and the story would continue as it would.
If there's a fair number of players the story would continue at a fair pace.
I, as the GM of my game would outline the scenery and the story that your character would interact with.
It saves you from having to actually be present during the entire role play.

I was involved in something similar a LONG time back, when I was still into the Redwall books. It was actually pretty fun. Emmons, I'll be signing up here soon under the nickname "Papercrane". PM me either here or on your forum if you want to talk.

I thought this would be about RPGs (been playing Skyrim recently). So this is like a forum based text RPG (role playing game, not Rocket-propelled grenade). Interesting idea.
