Yes, IE is required ATM. In the future this will most likely be improved so that all required files will ship with it... The time selection feature is comming in the next build (12)... Thanks for your feedback.

Okay, another feature that I just implemented is the "Plug-ins" detection. As the name suggests, it detected wheter plug-ins (such as Flash Player, Shockwave, Silverlight, Java and AIR) are installed and then makes an appropriate output.
Build 12 is comming soon (most likely on the 20th)!
+ Custom panel display time + Plug-in detection + Some additional Tray Icon tooltips * Both panels are shown when navigating * Redesigned About dialog * Redesigned Settings dialog

I'm probably missing something very obvious here, so please excuse me if I sound dumb, but isn't the Trident engine closed-source ? Or you're just using the already existing mshtml in all NT6.x versions ?
Anyway, awesome work there and good luck further on !

I'll save that for the RTM... In other news, build 15 brings you support for dah cookies (!) as well as update checking along with it's settings. Scheduled release date is 31st (Saturday) December. Stay tuned.

Looks nice and works nice. Are you using the code I sent you or could you not get that working?
Oh, here's a bug you need to get fixed: The Address Bar shouldn't be the status bar when loading pages; I should only see http://www.betaarchive.com, not all these other addresses from Facebook and Google while it's loading.

Thanks for the code again, but I couldn't find a way to get it working, so I opted for an alternative... So far it shouldn't find any updates, though I could modify the string in remote file just to test it on a wider scale (worked fine for me)...
EDIT: About your problem: Yes, I noticed that, it sometimes even displays JavaScript for no reason. Will try to fix it ASAP... Also, I got some more good news for ya: I finally got the advanced download manager working, so it's comming in the next build 20, which is officially the first milestone 2 build. Stay tuned!

You are handling the Navigating event when you should only manage the Navigated event. This way, only the main URL is displayed (at e.Url.AbsoluteUri)

Okay then. Maybe you'd like to check this browser's git repository: http://sourceforge.net/p/nebron click on Code - it is a VB.NET browser in middle development like yours. And if you need help, I will help you in eveything I can. Good luck with your project!

I provided him a link over PM. The OP link is still the old one. Expect a public release of this hotfix tomorrow...
EDIT: A recompile of build 15 has been released; it seems to fix the problem. All users of the first compile of build 15 (released on 31st December last year) with update checks enabled should be notified about version 1.0.15.120103. I would also like to inform you that I no longer provide any support for previous builds (that includes feedbacks, bugs, suggestions, etc.). Stick to the latest for progress' sake...

Little bug, When i click more on google or anything else the search bar pops up. Its minor but sorta annoying.:/ Nice Work. It would be nice if you could change the color scheme.

That value was used to test the feature... It will be tweaked in build 20, but if you're that annoyed about it, you can set it to 99 minutes... Besides, if it does't find any updates, no user interaction happends and the check is so fast it shouldn't affect program's performance.
About the bug: that would probably be because of the site design, though I'll look into it.
Color scheme is comming later. My main goal until Alpha 1 is to get My Manager 100% operational... Then comes all the other fancy UI stuff.
EDIT: I decided to remove the interval update checking because I find it useless since you can already choose to check on start-up as well as on-demand. I also got the history working and for now removed support for RSS and custom search providers...
