In the right corner of the Windows XP explorer, it shows the Windows XP flag. Is there a way I can change that?

Yes, through the resource editor (eg Restorator). The flag is in explorer.exe, if not mistaken.

It's a frame-stripe in explorer.exe, I'm not sure which bitmap is it, so, you must to find out it yourself.

It's hard because there are too many flags used for animations.
