When I changed the images in msgina.dll to custom ones, replaced the file and rebooted, I got the custom image when I started up my computer, logged in, but when I went to winver.exe it still showed the Standard Windows XP one. Is there another dll file I need to replace?

Replaced it also in the dllcache folder or disabled the File Protection System?

try win32k.sys too, don't know if that's the same for Windows XP too but I know it's off Windows 2000
