Put 4074 in a Windows Vista install.wim (i.e. create a new WIM using the Vista AIK). Use WinPE 2.
Ohh, downloading a 2 GB file? Then learning to use AIK?
Tbh, if I was being serious, I'd be telling you all you want is imagex which you can probably get singular. The AIK is useful for repackaging though. There's also something called a search engine which can be used to obtain help documents or guides for using an AIK. The other point is, it's on the web (wimpack) and has been for about 4 months. This means it has been indexed by most if not all search engines.

Not sure what you're referring to about being on WIMPack? It doesn't have anything from the AIKs yet - it's largely focused around the Longhorn-era techs at the moment. It does have the 4074-compatible ximage.exe (b4059 iirc).

Where are NTDETECT and TXTSETUP from the BOOT folder?
You're following the wrong instructions - You want to scroll down and follow "Later Builds". Actually, all you need to do now is grab the patched ntldr from WIMPack, and drop it in the root of the drive.
