Can someone recommend a x86 EMULATOR , not virtualizer, that's not Qemu or Bochs? I've had trouble with both and am wondering if there's any other alternatives :/

That is a virtualizer, not an emulator.

Emulator: Emulates an entire PC in software - every device in a PC from the CPU down to the keyboard controller has to be emulated in software.
Virtualizer: Uses the host system's hardware to do some tasks instead of emulating it all in software.

JPC. Although, if both Bochs and QEMU fail for you, then most probably nothing else would succeed, either.

It is QEMU like, and does emulate x86.

Read the first post. :OD

I would try PCem. But it really depends on what you want to run in the emulator. :/
