I was wondering if it was possible to connect my Computer's hard drives up to my Laptop, while still being inside my Computer when....

1. The Computer is Turned On (I'm pretty sure there is)
2. The Computer is turned off but still plugged into the mains

Recently using GoToMyPc and can use it on my laptop while I'm at school, but i wont get away with leaving my computer on all day (lights up and makes a noticable noise)

Simply no. Not unless you have a NAS device but you won't be able to use the same drive as your PC without swapping it out.
