Microsoft will never build xbox 360 emulation into win 8. Why? because it would make the games too easy to pirate, even if they forced you to use a priority dvd drive that would ever be hacked or, more likely, the software would be hacked probably to load from a disk image. microsoft want to make money, if they built emulation into win 8, not only would they loose hardware sales, they would most likely loose allot of software sales aswell.

I don't agree with this. Would piracy increase, yes. But that is not why they don't do it. Basically, Microsoft and any other hackers/modders out there would need to a write a very complex program that would emulate 1 piece of hardware on many other pieces of hardware. That's a lot of work. Piracy something to do with it, but it's mainly due to the hard work it would take.

Yes, but remember they wrote an xbox1 emulator to run old games on the 360.. I think that's hard too...

The Xbox 1 has no exclusives, which by that creating a emulator would be useless. And i doubt that we'll see a current gen emulator soon besides it being to hard to code, powerPC is really hard to emulate with some actual performance.

There's barely a working PS2 emulator which is very laggy.
PCSX2 isn't laggy here... Just a little. Depends on the computer where you're running it.

Yep, definitely. When I ran PCSX2 for testing on my previous computer, it gave me hell.. partially. Ran around 30 FPS lowest for a couple games. On my recent desktop upgrade, the game fps doesn't dip in PCSX2 often and when it does, maybe drops 2-3 fps from the max, yay for i7-2600k
Previous desktop had an AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core processor.
Just because Microsoft added Windows 8 support to the Kinect for Windows SDK doesn't automatically mean that Windows 8 will ship with XBox 360 emulation...

yep, there is already a 360 controller driver for windows, dose that mean i have 360 emulation. no. Kinect for windows is the same thing.

I think if I tried to run a X360 Emu on this MBP it would melt, it struggles with blackops natively.

If anyone saw my desktop post, I posted it in the wrong topic. I'm such an idiot.... About this, an Xbox emulator would be pretty awesome, but you'd be sacrificing, well, ALL of your PC parts to use it.
