empireum, does SP3 update those logos with XP Embedded or are they reshacked in or what? I've never really did much with XPe but my Dell laptop has the MediaDirect thing, which is a slim Media Center thing based on XPe for a quick startup into your media. Well long story short that went asplode but most of the files are still there so I'm going to try and manually rebuild it and try and obtain an XPe desktop.

This image was built using the Windows Embedded Standard CTP. Nothing has been hacked. As far as the normal SP3 for XP is concerned, it does not contain these logos, it contains updated "Windows Embedded" logos instead, dropping the "Windows XP Embedded" branding. So I guess it's a matter of using the WES CTP.
Update: The SP3 for XPe doesn't contain those images either. The Windows Embedded Standard CTP Refresh contains a file called XPER2.EXE which is applied to the database when the CTP is installed, it contains the winbrand.dll with the updated logos along with the old ones.
