Anyone enjoyed the sneak preview for Watch Dogs?
Yep,it was nice. But I mostly enjoyed Splinter Cell: Blacklist and the new Need For Speed: Most Wanted previews on the first day of E3. Let's see what the next days will bring.

I don't get how all of you are able to run the RP....I tried today, and I literally could not do ANYTHING with it for more than five minutes before the system would lock up and stop responding. Even if I just booted it up, logged in, and proceeded to leave it alone. Thank God I had the good sense to take a complete image of my Windows 7 install before I installed 8...

I've got an incredibly similar issue on one of my systems - I can't go longer than a couple of minutes before it just completely locks up. Plenty of other users are having this issue as well, including WithinWindows's Rafael.

Wonderful. Well, I can say for certain that it is a bug within Windows itself, as it happens no matter what I do. I tried running Metro apps, and desktop apps, and just leaving it sit. Same lockup within the same time period. Driver conflict, maybe? I don't know. I'd think that'd run an error message or something. Anyhow, I have deemed the RP unusable on my gear until somebody finds a fix for that bug.

Windows 7 build 6730. Timebomb and activation are defused. All drivers work, except that these Nvidia drivers make screen flicker, like the refresh rate is wrong, but I can only select 60 Hz (only seen if you're close to the monitor, but annoying). Other than that, it works perfectly on a main machine.
EDIT: The screen stopped flickering when I pressed the AUTO-ADJUSTMENT button on my monitor. Yay!

Really? Although offtopic, I have been using RP1 as my main since 1day after launch without any problems (apart from one random BSOD, but that only required a quick reboot), and I'm dualbooting of a virtual HDD with real hardware, dualbooting to usual HDD Win7 also works perfectly.

Watch Dogs seems awesome, but only if the gameplay works. SimCity seems cool, although I don't want to be connected to internet all the time. Assassins Creed 3 will probably be epic.

I use a prototype Dell system. It's got some odd hardware quirks that pop up every so often. I also can't install any Linux distro. They won't even boot the live system. And yes, Watch Dogs looks sweet.

I take it, you somehow kept that WINNT.BMP that I restored more than two years ago?
Also, nice to see that you're running the Windows 8 Release Preview. I'm going to finish up on everything relating to Build 8250 as much as possible (for example, the Server counterpart), and then I'll move on to the Release Preview build (Build 8400).
On that note, it's amazing to see how far Windows 8 has come in its two years of development, I mean, it seems like only yesterday that people were talking about these post-RTM builds of Windows 7, speculating about how likely they were to become Windows 8, and now the product is almost ready to be released! Even since the first leak (Build 7850) though, Windows 8 has changed quite a lot in its development.
