Yes, there is indeed a German (and English and probably French, Italian, etc.) copy of Vista Starter as well, don't know why. As for saying I prefer the English version, I meant the German Vista is, in some places, horribly translated, it's a pain to use. That's why I stick to English copies of Windows.

Just went back to 2003 from Vista
Fun fact: This screenshot took me about 20 minutes to make and the layered TIFF is over 6 mb.
This is because I had a copy of the background for removing some *cough* incriminating files, and I had a second screenshot to get the tooltip in.
