Hi all,
In doing some retro programming using VB6 Enterprise a few days ago, I had my VB6 crash several times by an apparent VB6\mouse driver conflict. Here's exactly what happened: I was on my laptop using the internal touchpad, when all of a sudden my cursor turned to an odd-looking compressed scroll bar type thing. VB6 instantly crashed! I tried reopening it and a few minutes later it happened again. Just to experiment, I loaded some other programs and used them for a while with no related crashes whatsoever. Then, I restarted VB6 and began programming again, this time using an external USB mouse. It worked! I am still stumped, though, as to what might be causing this problem. Any ideas would be appreciated!
PS: I was using Windows XP Home SP2.

Have you updated Visual Basic at all? Applied any of the service packs?
