PostPost subject: Longhorn 3718 - Installing Windows installer 3.1        Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2007 12:47 pm
Hi guys!

I'm currently using LH3718, the issue i'm having is when trying to install Windows Installer 3.1 it comes up with a "not enough space" dialog.

Is there a workaround to this?

Many thanks,
- Rob

Yep, use XP compatibility mode. Worked fine for me, though some people have to disable system restore as well :(

Ah, I'll give it a go dude...

As for disabling system restore, that's in services.msc?

Thanks Tom. :)
