Well i have just been having all sorts of problems with EA today. I bought NFS Hot Pursuit off of Amazon because it was $5 and I figured I'll just register it on Origin and download it from there. I did so and it worked fine, downloaded and installed. When I go to launch it though, the activation wizard comes up and asks me to enter my serial number. I do so and it says that it is invalid. The guys at EA support are useless so I was wondering if you guys have any ideas for me? Thanks a lot for any help.

I had the same problem with Mirror's Edge a while back. You'll basically have to send the EA guys a screenshot of the purchase confirmation and key on Amazon, then they should give you a legit key for Origin.
