Hi,
I have a problem with Easy Tune 6. When I am trying to close it, end process, or even shut down system a BSOD comes up. Do you know how to fix it?

If this help:
processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+ 3.2 GHz
motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M55S-S3

Do you have the STOP ERROR CODE handy?

Go to services.msc and disable any services related to Easy Tune 6, then restart your computer.

Then just delete gdrv.sys. It's not an official driver anyway.

File removed, but BSOD still comes up. I think I will better return to ET5, but it wouldn't be good idea because of my processor (or motherboard). Why? When I am playing GTA SA after about 5 minutes my computer simply shuts down without any warning. It's just overheated. ET5 doesn't work that good like ET6, but I can't do anything else (I think) :( .

When that file is deleted, it can be no longer on the BSOD screen (probably it returned). Strange.

It is't strange. When BSOD comes up every new configuration won't be saved. That is why I can't remove it.

Edit: I forgot about Safe Mode with CMD. I will try to remove it from there and post result.

Edit 2: I've got strange result. I wrote command "del gdrv.sys" and it worked. I restarted my computer to normal mode and this file returned. No BSOD came up during this operation, but I don't think I will use ET6 right now.

Is ET6 an Official program from Gigabyte?
And good that there's no BSOD! ^^
