on Virtual PC 2007, any S3 trio drivers crash the virtualizator when I type win.com when I install them on Windows 3.1 IBM Japanase (1993-06), the Generic patched SVGA driver does not work well after switching from the DOS prompt to Windows mode.

edit oemsetup.inf to disable the copy of non-Japanese-enabled system font files from S3's driver packages.

Sorry for my poor English m(_ _)m
You can download S3 Trio 64V+ driver that can use in Virtual PC 2007 at here.

http://www-06.ibm.com/jp/domino05/pc/do ... D0-02C26DB

Click at the "Download" at right of "s3win310.exe".
Then expand it with any archiver. For example, WinRAR.
and put them to VFD image and mount it.
Then type these words on your MS-DOS prompt under Virtual PC...

C:\>CD WINDOWS
C:\WINDOWS>SETUP

Then invert "ディスプレイ: VGA ゴシック 10pt" and press Enter.
Then invert "その他(ハードウェア メーカーが提供するディスクが必要) and press Enter.(it is in the bottom.)
Then check the gray column is "A:\", press Enter.
Then select your favorite resolution mode like "Trio64V+ 1.62.03 800x600x16M ゴシック10pt".
"ゴシック" is Gothic font, "明朝" is Ming font.
After selected, invert "変更完了: 上記のシステム設定をします。" then press Enter.
If you see a message that "ディスプレイ用ドライバはすでにシステムに組み込まれています。..." then press Esc key.
All installation is finished, please restart your Virtual PC.
Then type "WIN", you can change your Windows 3.1's resolution!!

Thanks for reading, ありがとう(^_^)/
