This new experimental game got released recently this month, its a first person game
where there is no interaction, shooting or items whatsoever. You just coast through
and music/dialogue will play as you past certain areas. Any opinions about this game
anyone? Personally I feel this game is unique, runs of the source engine and parts of
the story just look amazing. Its "Artistic gaming". Looks better than anything else
running on source engine. So has anyone got a chance to try it? What do you think?

Dude, the Dear Esther mod has been around for more than a month. I tried it and found it boring. The story just wasn't interesting.

This is true. In fact, it has been much longer than a month. And I played it but I found the mod to be lacking some key things. The finished game, however, looks much better.

I meant the new remake of it, yes the mod was flimsy. I saw the videos, but just go watch a video of the remade one. Then rejudge.
The story is very dependent on the scenery, the map really needs to look good for the story to come to life.
