ps.. yes ,there should be letters,not numbers in the dropdown list. but its just a mock-up.

i dont want to create a image of a partittion, i want to copy all of the data from one or more partitions to a single partition on a external harddrive.

What about file/directory collisions between partitions?
How are you going to handle it? Renaming? Overwriting/Merging?

i was wondering about that, perhaps it could check file dates and keep the newest date? or there,s always the manual method, 'do you want to replace this file" click YES.
