Here are some problems about my main computer and my secondary computer (no more laptop).

Problem 1: Fatal System Error on my main computer
Fixed?: Yes, re-installing the whole system will fix this problem
Every time I want to boot my main computer, after the Windows XP boot screen the system hard disk turns off and then shows this blue screen:

BSOD wrote:
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpecedly with a status of 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x0000000)
The system has been shutdown.

However, my computer will have a minimal chance to boot successfully and sometimes it will freezes or BSOD (KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR) will appear. How to fix this?

Problem 2: Display driver stopped responding on my secondary computer
Fixed?: In discussion
viewtopic.php?p=311090#p311090

Problem 3: Main computer freezes again and again :x
Fixed?: Still not fixed, solutions are not helpful
My main computer will have a greater chances to freeze the whole system (that completely locks up screen, disabling keyboard, mouse and others devices without the cause of driver conflicts/system bugs, and also long sound beep heard from the speakers if the sound plays, it can be fixed by restarting the computer). Safe mode doesn't help, so how to fix this?

It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem. Either way, try booting into Safe Mode.

Download some Live CD capable of doing a System Restore (ERD Commander 2007?), and try doing a System Restore to a date when it worked.

Did you try the Last Known Good Configuration? I know it may not work, but it's worth a try.

When I was booting in Safe mode, it will show the same BSOD. Same goes for the Last Known Good configuration. The only fix for me is to re-format the hard drive and install Windows.

The problem for my main computer has been fixed.

Now I need another help. I have a new computer with Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD 4350 (it can play some games flawlessly) and Windows 7 Ultimate. The main problem is every time I used the computer it will have some graphical problems (coloured checkerboard patterns will appear) and sometimes it will reset the graphic driver and then shows this tooltip:
Quote:
Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

In event log, it will show like this:
Quote:
Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I have tried these fixes but it doesn't help:
1. Reinstalling the drivers
2. Installing the latest driver
3. Use Drive Sweeper (explaination here)
4. Use Catalyst Control Center and activating OverDrive
5. Remove the graphic card and then install them back

I don't want to make a fresh install for the system. Also, the older drivers will have the same thing. Instead of resetting the display driver, it will show the BSOD and then restarts the computer. The problem was affected because the graphic card fan is not moving. How to fix this problem without having to re-install the whole system?

It's TDR: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows ... 87368.aspx

And basically can be triggered by various hardware reasons: OC, bad cooling or even a bad PS; or bad drivers, basically incompatibility with the OS. I have this one too because of the incompatibility between the driver and OS, so before looking for hardware issues I'd suggest you to try a different set of drivers (old or new ones) before trying the card on another computer.

Installing old drivers doesn't work because when TDR is activated, it will send them into BSOD.

Do you think the freezing could be attributed to a cooling problem at all? Does the computer have good ventilation, and is there any pattern to the freezing at all?

It was not a problem from the cooling fan. When I checked the temperature is OK, checked the memory is OK, but what about graphic card?

For problem 2, can you respond them back?

It sounds to me like a graphics error. The best thing you can do is install the latest drivers, and try re-seating the card to make sure it's got a good connection to the motherboard. You might also check that if it has a fan it's working and that it's not clogged with dust. You can use a program such as RivaTuner to keep an eye on your graphics temperatures and fan speeds, etc. too.

If it's not a fan problem then it really does sound like a driver problem. The only question is how to go about fixing it. I know that I had a vista computer that would completely flip out when I had a secondary monitor in and the computer woke up from sleeping. No amount of driver rolling or updating would cause any difference. Then I upgraded to Windows 7 and everything works beautifully. You might get lucky with checking for recent driver updates but you may just be passed by.

Also my second computer will have some problems too. Every time I used the computer, the screen flickers with cyan/red checkerboard patterns around, especially playing games or browsing the web. It was the problem from the graphic card, not the drivers.
