Hi. I got 2 battery on this laptop, one basic + second on multibay. When I disconnect from AC and when I got 0% power on first then laptop don't use power from second battery and wont start even when I got 100% on that second battery, but when I remove from laptop basic battery then laptop will start from second from multibay battery but in this time when laptop running on additional battery and I plug in same time basic one then laptop just shut down.... There are any solution to force laptop to use 2 batteries without unplug first ?

mmh.. I have an old dell with multibay option, but I don't have 2 batteries.. anyway, in the pc's bios there is some kind of option on wich bay has priority; you can check if there is something similar in your bios too...

hey, I tought a little advice would have been better than nothing; on this website people share their own experince to help the others and personally sometimes I found very helpful a little advice or hint coming from the others.. As no one answered yet to your topic and as I have computer with similar dual bay situation (dell latitute CPx) even if I never had a compaq notebook my advice was to look in you bios (thing you dind't mentioned you did!).. I tought it would have been helpful, sorry for that.
