Download a Windows 98 boot disk, write it to floppy disk and then boot from that.

Hello!

I dont have a floppy drive to use :(. I now have a new problem. I can use another drive but this computer only supports 8.4gb. If i format the primary DOS partition as under 8.4gb, will it be able to boot?

I don't think going that way will work; it sounds like a BIOS limit to me. Such BIOS limits can't be overridden unless you do one of the following:
  • Update the BIOS
  • Get a drive overlay
  • Use an NT-based OS

Windows NT comes with its own ATA drivers that work around the BIOS limit. Not sure if it works on boot drives though.
