I have heard users report a lot of bugs in Honeycomb. Ice Cream Sandwich is the best available at the moment of writing.

But will his specs be able to run it smoothly? And I don't think so... Honeycomb has been perfected since the first release right?

My Wildfire begs to differ.

iOS still has many flaws, what are some of the flaws of honeycomb?

It's a bit fiddly tbh, but that's what I saw of VegaComb when I installed it on my dad's Advent Vega.

Well I am currently looking into Honeycomb but my main issue was speed, and I doubt Honeycomb will make it faster, which is why I was looking into a possible Linux distro. Anyways, I might not even install a different version. I might just stick with 2.3 and do some tweaks to speed it up a little

Well it would be more time consuming to tweak it, maybe honeycomb will be a better choice.

Really? Is it really that much better that it would run faster? I do not mind tweaking it if that is the case.

Hello everyone. I have been trying to experiment with my Coby Kyros 7012MID. It has Android 2.3 and is rooted, but I want to see if more is possible. Is it possible to run another OS on this tablet and if so, how? I am pretty eager to try something and see how it turns out because this tablet seems to be very flexible for only $80.

Does the tab have USB ports? If yes, hook up an external DVD drive and get Windows 8 on there!

Wrong. Windows 8 is only available for x86 and x64 platforms. Windows RT will only run on certain Microsoft-approved devices - an $80 Android tablet will not be one of them.
