Ok so... The stock Rage 128 graphics just aren't cutting it. Does anyone have a Mac compatible card they could spare that's AGP? I have a couple old cards laying around but neither are Mac compatible. Any help is appreciated.

Get an Nvidia FX5200 agp and flash it with Mac firmware for an Nvidia FX5200 Mac Edition. Either that or an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition or the flash trick with it. Job done.

You can use most PC AGP 2x compatible cards if you update the video BIOS to an OpenFirmware ROM.
There is a site called the macelite.wikidot.com.
They have modified OF roms for a lot of cards and flashing guides.
I have a G4 Digital Audio with AGP 4x slot here and replaced my Rage 128 pro.

That site is down.
