So uh, just curious (a)
Can it run small test xbe's yet?

I doubt you don't have it already, but I have a copy of the XDK (build 5933) I can give you if you want (as a unrelated sidenote, I also have a fex Xbox game beta's and one unreleased game as well, any interest in those?)

Oh, and do you guys have your own Xbox available for testing? (xx)

Sorry to hear about your earlier mishap, but it's good to know everything's fixed.

Thats still in development:

Note to All Japanese BA members: The codename is being Hiroshima, to be side by side with OBrasilo's MS-DOS 6.50 project, and to dedicate the lives of those innocent people who died in the Hiroshima atomic bombing in 1945.

Why the sudden GIGANTIC build number change from 5.2.3xxx to 6.5.5xxx? Did you find leaked Windows 8 kernel code? *hehe*

I thought you were referencing the atomic X in the Xbox and DirectX.

Nah.

1) The Change from 5.2.3xxx to 6.5.5xxx, was my idea, as to modify the builds to fit to that kernel. so 3950 and higher are in the 5000+ range.

2) PortalCake: It can refer to both, but its mostly referred to the Hiroshima bombing of '45.

Meet timebomb heaven
Code:
(..\initos.c:1480) Nt ProductType => ServerNt
(..\initos.c:1481) SystemExpirationDate: 0x0 => NULL

NO Executive level WPA for you. :P (Yes, WPA does go into the kernel (systime.c))

WPADecrypt128(x,x,x)
WPAStringChecksum(x,x)
NtLockProductActivationKeys(x,x)

Seems my questions go unnoticed here... Lemme try that bigger and bolder..

Can it run small test xbe's yet? :)

Nevermind the other questions I asked, please at least answer this one. ;)

BTW, Nice new name. Though you might want to think about including something with the word Xbox in the topic title so it's easy for people to find. ;)

Won't the change of the version number cause a problem for some software? Microsoft had some issue with upgrading 5.2 to 6.0, something internal to the version numbering in the system.

Then again, the software out there that has issues with the kernel version will probably not be used on this system, so perhaps it's a moot point.
