This is a conceptual OS I thought of.
This shows the loading process of the OS. This would show information about a crash had it happened.
This shows the shell. At the top is the base folder, and the name of the only connected drive. (FLASH)
This shows the apps folder. Certain types of folders may have their own commands, along with the normal folder commands. Items displayed in lower case are directories, while items in caps are files.
This shows the CALC app. Application commands along with exit and tasks are shown.
The TASKS app shows you the current apps that are running. This allows for multitasking.
If you quit SHELL, it will shut down the system.
NOTE: auxfs would be the file system used by the OS.

Its supposed to be a GUI (well sorta...), but you could say that...
NEW SHOT:
This illustrates its command prompt. When there are more commands for the app running than can fit on screen, a MORE command is visible, and it will show a box showing all the available commands for it. Also, the command prompt may be used to configure the shell (say to use a graphical shell instead of the one shown) and to run command line apps.
