I don't know what are you talking about, but I always advice to use various versions of xImage to use on different OSes. Try ImageX 7600 as it works the best with XP.

You can also try that: 1. Install clean XP 2. When you get to the screen: "Hey, I'm a Question Mark. Press F1......", reboot the PC 3. XP will show you Desktop with Administrator username logged in 4. Run sysprep from WinXP cd and supply it for customer (use OOBE). Also mark "reboot". 5. Boot into another OS, and ImageX your clean XP. 6. Done, now supply it as you did.
