But, there is NO GUARANTEE that we will be able to succeed. So wish us luck...

PS. Fitting on a CD shouldn't be hard when the OS is <1.5mb.

What happened to "MGalaxy"

Be patient! I am going to put up a link as soon as possible!

The problem is not fitting it on a cd, the problem is to make adjustments to the code to enable booting from iso.

No rush, I thought you said you were releasing links within minutes 2 weeks ago, and now you announced a new version of Heinan OS, so I thought you might have released it on some website I don't know about.

First, we code the core parts of the system, then the graphics server, then MGalaxy.

So this is a long term project, from the "in a few minutes" part of your post I thought you were doing the finishing touches weeks ago. So this is going to be released sometime in late August/September etc. We shall wait and see what happens.

Of course it is a long term project, it's running for 2 years! We are making progress slowly (we also have our own day-to-day responsibilities) but successfully.

Really, no GUI? I'm not happy to stick with MS-DOS or that sort of thing. It makes me look ****.

This is an operating system built from scratch!

You can't build a GUI without the underlying system

There will be GUI, in some point, but currently, we are just busy working on the core system!

Does anyone know any free FTP hosting services? If yes, tell me so that i could post the MGalaxy source code. The bigger the storage space, the better(maybe unlimited storage). BTW the source is available on GitHub. Search for MGalaxy and you will be directed to the repo. Experience on Git required.

There are quite a few sites that offer that-although I don't know if they contain malicious code (some of them definately spam you)

Here are a couple of free site hosting services that I've tried which include FTP access (but you need to set up a website, you can't purely host files):

There might be some FTP services for just hosting, search around, never needed one so I haven't tried any.

Dear users, HeinanOS Beta will be released next Thursday, 2/8/2012.

Along with the beta, a basic api for developers will be released, so users who want to contribute apps to HeinanOS will be able to.

Today is 9/8/2012 In a few hours time, the team behind HeinanOS will release HeinanOS Beta. Finally, you can develop apps for HeinanOS. Pls wait for the official release announcement by Heinan Cabouly before you can start downloading the beta.
