Geohot has spoken up regarding the recent Playstation Network breach to stop any rumors that he is responsible for the hack.

He doesn’t seem to know any more that the public, but he raises some excellent points about Sony’s questionable security practices. Geohot mentions the possibility of creating a PSN alternative for hacked consoles to play on, outside of Sony’s control. Nothing like this currently exists, but it could be an excellent sandbox for homebrew gamers.
