Ahhh, so he'll be happy that IE9 is releases, but when Windows 8 leaks he won't be that mad because he's already that happy!

Looks similiar to Total Commander icon. I believe it's an icon of some 3rd party file manager.

What's so special about a language explorer?

I doubt that, unless they are planning on distributing Windows on dual-layer DVD.. let's hope that won't happen

Actually, I think that's just a language explorer for choosing the languages available as a keyboard..

Microsoft is really developing the most strange way. 'Language explorer'... And the word 'explorer' is with the small letter, not capital. Ohh. :P

It's milestone 3 at best afterall, maybe even m2. I don't think they care much about spelling now.

Reminds me of "homegroup" or is it "HomeGroup" or is it "Homegroup"? as all 3 are in Windows 7

Homegroup ... Or is it HomeGroup?

Microsoft refers to its HomeGroup sharing feature in two different ways, as Homegroup and HomeGroup. This is annoying, but never more so than when the spelling difference both appear in the same UI. If you bring up the HomeGroup control panel, you'll see that it is referred to as HomeGroup in the address bar, and in the final link on the window, called the Start the HomeGroup troubleshooter. But in five other locations in this same window, it is referred to as Homegroup.

I doubted these screenshots at first, but now more are coming and they are complying with each other. This really does look real :)

This is very early development, remember. It could turn out just looking pretty similar to Windows 7. Also, beta testers will tell Microsoft what features work and what features don't, so things will change if people think they are bad.

I would upgrade even if, because it will be more directed towards updates and new programs.

oh please. The support for Windows 7 ends 2015 for all editions except pro and enterprise which end on 2018 IIRC. if you believe that the update crap is true than they turned you into a zombie. And what about people that are still on XP? Unless they don't screw it up (again), I staying with 7. It is a bullseye.

It's not like 7 looked that great anyway. Revised Window Frames excepted, I prefered the Vista theme to the 7 theme.

You should bare in mind that though it might indicate the general direction, these AeroLite screens show that the theme is pretty early in it's development, it's evidently not really ready for use, there appear to be a fair few inconsistencies and placeholders just from what we've seen.
