Forum rules

Please read the following rules before posting a download request in this area:

1. Don't post a request if you have under 10 posts as stated on the front page. If you do anyway, it will be deleted without further notice. This also applies to other members: If you see a request by someone with less than 10 posts and it hasn't been deleted yet, please don't reply to it.
2. Don't request for warez or any copyrighted software. Only betas (no matter how old or new) and finals of operating systems and applications that are at least 10 years old and therefore classified as abandonware are allowed to be uploaded to and shared on the BetaArchive FTP server.
3. If you have your own FTP server where you'd like other members to upload what you're looking for to, please don't post its login details in any open forum as that will probably lead to abuse. Post the login details in the Private Servers section instead.
4. Check that we don't already have the file on our FTP servers. If you don't have access to the FTP servers then ask someone who has (a moderator for example).

Bit of an odd request here. Does anyone have Windows X's Live's Vista Transformation Pack v9.0.1? All the links to it on his site are gone and while I found a few on Google, they were all on some download mirror sites that are probably less than trustworthy.

No, I use CP/M. The only reason I ask for this is because I have an XP VM sitting around and I want to play with it.

CP/M is a great operating system, I use it as my primary as well.

Usefulness is a subjective opinion. What you may consider useless, may not be so useless to the next person.
I hate to backseat moderate, but why post this kind of crap if you have nothing to contribute to the discussion other than your own opinions? Obviously that's okay, but when you do it only to get posts to most likely get Advanced member status, it's not...

I'll check through my archives on my external hard drive and get back to you. I might not have version 9. Might be a bit older or it might not be there at all. I'll check though.

CP/M is an operating system for the Intel 8088 (8 bit processor). It's like DOS. CP/M is very lightweight, but outdated...
What I don't think you're realizing is the sarcasm in LL's statement...

Um...okay...doesn't Vista 5840 have a timebomb? And obviously since you have a PHD at Harvard, you're at a well-paying job, obviously you can afford a proper, secure and stable OS such as Windows 7 or Mac OS X, right?!? :S

Okay...understood. But useless posts like those aren't in accordance of the rules...

Yeah, I believe I have found it on Brothersoft. They want you to use their stupid downloader app, but I found another way around. They'll probably send me some former takedown notices for posting this but here goes: http://usfiles.brothersoft.com/desktop_ ... s/vtp9.zip

Actually made for the Intel 8080, however it also ran on quite a few Zilog Z80 machines.

You can get it from here along with other versions if you need them. The original file name should be VTP901.ZIP
As far as I know that's the one I got back in 2008 I guess, so it should be trusted.

Click the orange button "Clique para fazer download" to start downloading!

I love SuperDownloads because they mirror almost all downloads to brazilian servers and I can download faster =P

EDIT: Another download link here:
