Booted a laptop I got off of eBay for a buck with a power supply I had lying around. 14.5 year old definitions from an antivirus I haven't heard of in years. Photo of a paint screenshot as the floppy drive won't read any disks inserted.

I finally got networking to work on Windows 98 SE in VMWare, and the homepage delivered this:

IE just doesn't want to upgrade.

edit: It was so easy... I just dropped VMWare's MAC Address for the network adapter and put it in the "Automatic Configuration Script" box during LAN network set up.

Try IE6, or you may also take Opera 8 or 9, which may also result in such crashes in those kinds of large pages.

I hated the old Internet Explorers for alot of reasons. Right now im using Internet Explorer 9, cause its pretty.

Microsoft made IE9 not work on it. But if you'd like to get HTML5 functions, Google Chrome or Firefox are some choices. And about the icon, I haven't got any problems with it, try cleaning cache files etc.

Very true until your Cache fills up pretty large and it becomes impossible to use IE9 when its super slow.
