"We offer a 100% legitimate backup/replacement service. A Windows 7 License Key will NOT be included in this listing. This disc is available for people who already own Windows 7 (have a genuine Windows 7 License Key from Microsoft). It is for someone who has either lost their original installation disc or was not provided with one when they bought their new desktop or laptop. This can be installed and activated on any number of computers as long as you own a GENUINE Windows 7 License Key for each installation."

It's possible that one can be legit.
Regardless I wouldn't trust "ferran586".
It's just a Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit compiled together using ImageX in a DVD-R, which should be breaking eBay terms & conditions for selling such items, but I'm not amazed eBay didn't put it out yet since eBay are lazy...

I don't buy stuff from eBay. Its harder to hold them liable in case you need to take legal action for some reason (sent an empty box, already activated, etc.)

That's why exercise practice to buy from reputable seller. Once I bought VB4.0 Pro Upgrade, when it arrived the box are all completes except the CD is missing, I informed the seller, and he send me VB5.0 Pro (Academic) for free. Now that's a good/reputable seller!

All this really does is make me want to make some ebay auctions. Maybe next time I buy a PC just to run linux I will try this little trick out and see if I get any bites.

I have never bought anything from eBay. Always Amazon. Got a Battery, Keyboard, and a 15.4 Inch Glossy Screen for my Laptop from Amazon, yet I got the DC Jack from some else place, My Grandfather only had Lead Solder... Fried the Board ... But That's a whole other Story, The Moral is, Never buy anything from eBay.

I'd never buy hardwares or peripherals from eBay as god knows how it's conditions or compatibilities. But for softwares, it's way better than Amazon, and whole lot cheaper. I got Visual Studio 2002 Enterprise Architect full box for $10. Wasn't that cheap?

The image of that Microsoft Windows 7 DVD is fake. Also, the real Microsoft Windows 7 DVD includes all editions except Enterprise.
Also you need to remember that genuine Windows 7 DVD will only install the edition its intended to. This so-called "Universal" DVD is just hacked together using XImage and burned to an empty DVD, just like I said before.

There is a way to install Ultimate from any Windows 7 DVD no matter what edition it is. It's all in the install.wim file

I meant on eBay too That's why eBay have buyer protection programme so you can get your money back (plus original shipping price) if the seller scam you. And common sense really helps when dealing with too-good-to-be-true listings.
